COACHING
Hillery graduated a semester early from division one the University of Vermont with an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. A four-year member of the Catamounts field hockey program, she appeared in 73 games with 36 starts as a forward and served as team captain in 2024, helping UVM secure its first-ever America East Conference Championship. Over her career, she tallied 5 goals and 4 assists for 14 points, contributing to several program milestones including most wins in a season, highest DPC/APC conversion rates, and the program’s top save percentage.
Academically, Hillery excelled with multiple honors, including the America East Academic Honor Roll (2022–23, 2023–24), the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll (2021–22, 2024–25), and the NFHCA All-Academic Squad (2021–22).
At Sayville High School, she was a decorated midfielder/forward, earning All-State (2x), All-Tournament, All-Conference, and All-Division honors while captaining her team to its first playoff berth in five years. She recorded 20 goals and 24 assists and earned the Nancy Cole Award for her passion and commitment to the sport. Hillery also played club for Strong Island Field Hockey (U12–U19), competing in elite tournaments such as Disney Showcase, Shooting Star, Super-Sixty, and Nexxus. She represented New York State at Nexxus from 2016–2019 and was named to the Max Field Hockey Top 100 Players to Watch list (2018).
