Competed in multiple international tournaments, including the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California, Pan American Games in 1983 (Caracas, Venezuela), 1991 (Havana, Cuba), and 1995 (Mar del Plata, Argentina), the 1989 Inter Continental Cup in New Jersey, USA, and the 1991 Olympic Qualifier in New Zealand, where he served as team captain.
